Fugue Mill is a project with a jazz sensibility that embraces Classical Music, Bluegrass, Celtic, and other World Musics. The repertoire contains the band members' dynamic original compositions which fuse these genres, and music by such artists as Thelonious Monk, Samuel Barber, and Leonard Cohen. Intricate counterpoint, both written and improvised, alternates with dazzling instrumental solos, along with original pieces in the singer/songwriter tradition, which utilize all the creative devices available to this band to enhance their messages.
